13" tall leather uppers made from 6 ounce chrome tanned top grain leather feature triple stitch with nylon thread in a lock stitch thats guaranteed not to fail. With care and maintenance the top grain leather will develop a patina of deep brown coloration featuring the scars of all your tough jobs and winter adventures until you consider them an old friend.
We don't cut corners on quality. The Grizzly features our Snug-fit Lacing design, with reinforced metal stud hooks and Power D-Ring Lace anchors. The lacing system helps provide a boot that is contoured to the unique shape of your leg and provides the ultimate in ankle support.
Removable 6 mm thick three part liner quilted from a wicking durable synthetic, 400 gram Thinsulate Ultra Insulation, and finally 3 mm of wool felt to insulate even when damp. In the event that they become saturated with water, the liners can be easily removed, and either dried or replaced with a fresh new set.
Vulcanized rubber midsoles feature a solid steel shank that offers a solid foundation, supporting you on even the most uneven surfaces. The vulcanization process fuses together over 30 pieces of rubber along with reinforcements to create a one piece waterproof bottom with exceptional durability and comfort. The rubber bottom is further reinforced by the embedded steel shank, which creates a reliable, supportive platform under your foot.
The custom Kenetrek K-Talon Outsole design has a deep and open tread design for serious grip and traction with rigid support to keep you on your feet while traversing the most difficult terrain.
